Hi! My name is Teri Friedland. I am the creator of Pink Ribbon 360. Here's a little about who I am. I was born and raised in New Jersey and graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. After graduation, I lived in New England for a few years, then moved to Arizona to escape the cold. I’ve lived in AZ for over 20 years and love the people, weather, and the mountains, but will always consider myself an east coast gal. Go Yankees!
After 20+ years working as an occupational therapist, I took a few years off to be home with my two children. Once my kids were on auto-pilot, I followed my love for exercise and fitness and became a Barre instructor. I currently teach Barre exercise classes, myofascial release and meditation at The Studio Phoenix, formerly known as The Dailey Method Phoenix. In addition to being a licensed occupational therapist, I'm certified in Anatomy4Fitness and the Pink Ribbon Program. The Pink Ribbon Program helps breast cancer survivors stretch and strengthen the shoulders, chest and back through a series of gentle exercises.
My friend's been a breast cancer survivor for a few years and never found a rehab program that fit her needs after her surgeries. I knew with my skill set, this was something I could do to help her and other women like her. The deeper I dove into developing this program, the more of a passion it sparked in me. I'm honored to offer this program and work with women to restore their strength and self-confidence.
I live with my husband Jono, two college-age children, Kaeli & Jackson (when they're home), and my stubborn, but incredibly cute beagle, Petey. In addition to Barre and cycle classes, I like to hike, bike, play games, travel, listen to music and spend time with friends & family.
My motto is, “Live life with love, kindness and humor.”
